In early 2018, OSRUI launched a community campaign to fund the construction of a new building at camp, the Heichal HaTarbut Kaye (Kaye Cultural Center). This new center will make it possible for us to come together as a full community to worship in a comfortable and inspirational space, to showcase OSRUI talent and to host a wide variety of guest performers and concerts at camp.
The campaign was led by OSRUI Board Chair Steve Wolf, Development Committee Chair Michael Lorge as well as Campaign Co-Chairs Joel Bayer, Debbie Krupp and Neal Sabin.
On August 4, 2018, nearly 500 OSRUI alumni and donors joined together at camp to honor Jerry and Paula Kaye and break ground on the new building.
